BASIL'S FIRST BIRTHDAY BLUEBELL PORTRAITS.
There is something truly enchanting about a carpet of bluebells in spring, with the soft light filtering through the trees of the woodland illuminating the beautiful purple-blue hues that filled the woodland. Now imagine that scene with a joyful dog bounding through it. That's exactly what happened on this session with the handsome Basil and his owner Holly. This was an extra special photoshoot as it was in preparation for celebrating Basil's first birthday.We choose to do this session at prospect park in Reading during early evening when the light was not so harsh and used areas of the bluebells where we wouldn't damage the plants. Capturing pets in such a beautiful location requires patience, gentle direction and of course lots of treats. But the results we got were pure magic. The contrast of Basil's golden coat against the cool blue of the flowers made for unforgettable memories, one his humans will treasure forever.A bluebell shoot isn't just about pictures it's about celebrating the bond between pets and nature in springtime. The bluebell seasons are very fleeting but the memories we capture last a lifetime.
