Each month I run a small local competition called "breed of the month" giving the opportunity to someone to win a free pet photography experience with me. In September I had such a good response from the offer I decided to do a double breed for october and beyond.
The September Breed was picked at random and that was for the Dachshund, The winner was picked out of the hat and that was Hannah and the beautiful Bean.
Hannah had also brought along Bean's sister winney so we had a double Dachshund photography session. Both Bean and Winney were absolute stars in front of the camera and were the perfect models.
For this photosesion we headed down to Sulham woods in Reading, Berkshire where there are some wonderful areas for pet photography. The woods themselves are very large with lots of different tress, ferns, tree stumps and fallen trees. Each of these can make a wonderful background for these important photos.
I love to caputure dog portraits in these locations and use as many of them as I can to give a totally different image as often as possible for the owner.
