READING PARKLAND PET PHOTOGRAPHY | ROMEO

During the summer of 2021 I had the pleasure of being able to photograph Romeo. His owner wanted to capture some professional images rather than just on her phone. We arranged to meet at the local park which is very large and has a number of different areas to create a few different looks.

The sun was very bright that evening which I used to create some lovely backlit images of Romeo. Now he was a wonderful dog to work with, he was very well trained and was an absolute joy to photograph.

We started off using a large tree stump for Romeo to stand on using the direct sunlight to aluminate his face and those wonderful markings.We then used a small shaded area under a tree where we used a small flash to highlight him while still getting the colour in the background from the setting sun. The majority of these images were taken with just natural light that we had but I did use a small flash on a couple of other images just to create a varied set of images.
