READING WOODLAND PET PHOTOGRAPHY | SULHAM WOODS
DOG PORTRAIT SESSION
I recently had the great chance to photograph the handsome Marley at the local woodland where his owner Carly takes him for his walks. Marley is a young Energetic working cocker spaniel and even though he is young he was so wonderfully behaved.
We started off walking a short distance and used the main path way for the first image and found a fallen tree where we managed to get so lovely images of him.
Again as we walked i came across a tree stump that suited the image that i wanted to get and with a bag of doggy treats we managed to get Marley to sit still for enough time to get the shot.
As you walk around Sulham Woods you will always find little areas that suit a particular image, we found fallen trees, tree stumps, gravel pathways and of course areas with long grass which all make for great images.
The light on the day was very dull to start with but the sun did start to poke its head through the trees, i looked for areas within the woods where there would be little pockets of light on to Marley and gave a nice little Haze to some of the images.
