HDR Photography is a subject that divides photographers world wide.
I am one of those photographers that likes this style of photography, now high dynamic range (hdr) can produce some stunning images.
With this style of photography you will need a tripod, a camera release cable as you want everything to be rock solid so you dont get any camera shake, you then need to take a series of shots, with the shutter speed changing by a minimum of three stops, ie.. 1/60s 1/125s 1/250s then combine all three images in software such as photoshop, by taking three images give you much better use of the complete tonal range of the image.
There are two ways of producing images in this way,the first is with the more natural way and then there is the "over cooked" way.
"over cooked" means that the colours are saturated and the detail within the image is more apparent giving it a ethreal look.
I recently had a walk around sonning-on-thames with this style of photography in mind and produced a few images shown here.
I hope you like what you see..
